Chinese New Year Festival

Welcome to MIMS' Chinese New Year Festival 2024! We invite families and friends of MIMS to attend our annual celebration hosted at the Mandarin Immersion Magnet School. Chinese New Year is the most important holiday on the Chinese lunar calendar, and each year, MIMS PTO hosts a festival to celebrate with our families and the surrounding community. The event usually takes place on a Saturday during (or immediately following) the 15 days of the Lunar New Year. The festival features performances from the students, a lion dance, great food, inflatables, fun cultural activities, and more.

ANNUAL ART AUCTION & RAFFLE

Get ready for an unforgettable celebration this Chinese New Year Festival with our annual Auction and Raffle extravaganza! Prepare to be dazzled by an array of items generously donated by business partners, MIMS families, and in a special highlight this year, a showcase of artistic brilliance from our very own students.

We are happy to offer great opportunities for your business to help sponsor the Chinese New Year Festival. Each sponsorship showcases your business to the MIMS community and supports the mission and education of our incredible students.

The deadline to submit all sponsorships is Monday January 29, 2024 so that we have time to print materials.

FESTIVAL TICKETS

1. Pre-sale tickets has ended. We will sell tickets again on the day of the festival. Prices during the festival on 2/24/24: wristband - $35 per wristband; tickets - 10 Tickets for $10

2. Presale Tickets Pick Up: 2/23/24 during morning drop-off and dismissal at the Dragon Door OR at the festival on 2/24/24 at the ticketing booth.
