Cheers to Ms. Elsi!
We are both excited and a bit sad to announce that Elsi Ventura, our beloved custodian and friend to all students, will be retiring this January after a long tenure with HISD. Her final day will be January 7th, when we return from the holiday break. Ms. Elsi has dedicated herself to our school community since our first year of inception and has always greeted everyone with a smile. To show our gratitude, we will celebrate her with well wishes and a small gift. Students, teachers and staff will have a Clap Out for Ms. Elsi on January 7th at 2 PM:
- 1st floor: by classrooms
- 2nd floor: in cafeteria
- 3rd floor: in gym
Thank you to everyone who organized, wrote cards and/or contributed donations and gifts. She will truly appreciate all of your kinds words and generosity!
In addition, the PTO is providing a cake and gift card to her.
